Sophomores Rachel Morris of Carlsbad and Danielle Frasier of La Costa Canyon finished tied for sixth yesterday in the girls golf high school state championships on the Poppy Hills course in Pebble Beach.
Morris, the San Diego Section winner, and Frasier finished at 4-over 76. Poway freshman Brittany Mai, the only other local golfer in the competition, shot an 82.
Lee Lopez of Whittier La Serna captured the title with a 70.
