Today: Additional public hearings will be held on the Sunrise Powerlink electricity transmission line proposal. 1 to 5 p.m. and 6:30 to 9 p.m., Borrego Springs Resort, De Anza Room, 1112 Tilting T Drive. Three of the five members of the California Public Utilities Commission will be there.

Saturday, Sunday: American Indian fair. 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., San Diego Museum of Man, Balboa Park. Art, demonstrations, music, dancing, traditional foods, crafts for children. Information: museumofman.org.

Sunday: Escondido Street Faire. 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. along Grand Avenue between Centre City Parkway and Ivy Street.
